The family and I took a little trip to Lake Tahoe after we left Iowa. We had such a nice time exploring the area and trying to find things to do. It was in between tourist seasons, so activities were a little limited, but we found enough to keep us busy. :) We drove around the lake, which was beautiful, went on a hike to Vikingsholm Castle, went on a sailboat cruise on the lake, did a little shopping, managed to catch the Iowa Hawkeye game in a casino, and relaxed! One of the most adventurous things we did was to go ziplining! I'm not too fond of heights (and neither is my mom), but once we did the first "zip", it wasn't as scary and turned out to be a lot of fun!
